I knew as soon as Kristy told me she wanted somewhere with a beach and a flower field in bloom this would be the spot; and it did not disappoint!

For this engagement session at Point Dume State Beach we started as we walked up the hill towards the cliffs, so we could snag all the incredible photos with the blooming wildflowers covering the landscape. While it was a gloomy day, the flowers gave us the sunshine color and Southern California beauty. Imagine walking hand in hand with your partner, surrounded by vibrant yellow flowers, as the waves crash below you and the sea breeze passes around you.
Engagement Session at Point Dume State Beach
As we moved to the beach for the second part of the session, we were blessed with a stunning ‘blue hour’. As the daylight fades, the soft hues of purple and blue create a magical backdrop for your engagement photos. The rhythmic sound of the crashing waves brings an air of serenity to the atmosphere; all that matters in that moment is your love. To add an extra touch of romance, Kristy and Bobby brought along a custom-labeled bottle of champagne. I love to recommend props like this for all my couples; it helps to enhance their session and really make it unique.
